MD (Dr Med Germany)
Qualified 1990 from Heinrich Heine University, Dusseldorf, Germany. Qualified as a GP in Germany and worked as a Partner and later salaried GP in Germany. After moving to England in 2006 became a partner in a Plymouth surgery and later worked as a locum in the Plymouth area. Joined Wembury Surgery in September 2017.
BSc (Hons) MBBS MRCGP (2011)
Qualified in 2005 from St Georges Hospital Medical School, London. Commenced GP Specialist Training in 2008. Worked as a GP locum in several practices in Plymouth and the South Hams. Also works occasionally in diving and hyperbaric medicine.

Following 20 years as a GP in the Torbay area, Dr Morrell joined Wembury Surgery for two days a week. He has a special interest in respiratory, diabetes and sexual health medicine.
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query.
Fiona Tunnicliffe can be contacted by ringing the surgery. An antenatal clinic runs on Tuesday afternoons by appointment only.
Our district nurses give nursing care support and advice to those needing nursing at home or within residential care homes. They can be contacted by ringing the surgery.
Alison works with families in the community, providing health promotion, post natal checks, child developmental checks and assessments. Please contact the surgery for information.
Alison runs a baby clinic at the surgery once a month on a Tuesday from 13:30. Please contact the surgery to make an appointment.
There is a physiotherapy clinic on a Wednesday. Patients are referred by the doctor or nurse practitioner.
